Security Council Extends Mandate of UNAMA

Naseer Ahmed Faiq, Charge d'Affaires of the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations, addresses the meeting on the situation in Afghanistan.

The Council unanimously extended the mandate of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), until 17 June 2027.
