General Assembly Pays Tribute to King of Norway

The General Assembly pays tribute to the memory of King Harald V of Norway, who passed away on 28 August 2026, during the 108 plenary meeting of the General Assembly, a high-level meeting to commemorate and promote the International Day against Nuclear Tests. In the centre is Annalena Baerbock, President of the eightieth session of the United Nations General Assembly, and at left is Izumi Nakamitsu, High Representative for Disarmament Affairs.
