Security Council Votes Unanimously to Extend Mandate of United Nations Mission in East Timor

The Security Council votes unanimously as it adopts resolution 1543 (2004) to extend the mandate of the United Nations Mission of Support in East Timor (UNMISET) for another six months, reduce its size, put more emphasis on training and advisory services and phase it out by May of next year.
