General Assembly Pays Tribute to Secretary-General

The General Assembly met to pay tribute to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and for the taking of the oath of office by the Secretary-General-designate António Guterres. The meeting was chaired by Peter Thomson (centre on podium), President of the Assembly's seventy-first session, who is flanked by Secretary-General Ban (left) and Catherine Pollard, Under-Secretary-General for General Assembly and Conference Management.
