Security Council Adopts Resolution on Monitoring of Evacuations in Aleppo, Syria

The Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 2328 (2016), requesting the United Nations and other relevant institutions to carry out adequate, neutral monitoring and direct observation on evacuations from the eastern districts of Aleppo and other districts of the Syrian city.
Román Oyarzun Marchesi, Permanent Representative of Spain to the UN and President of the Security Council for December, chairs the meeting.
