Assembly Adopts Resolution Promoting Continued Cooperation between UN, Entity Prohibiting Use of Chemical Weapons

The General Assembly adopted a resolution titled "Cooperation between the United Nations and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons", by a recorded vote of 145 in favour, to none against and no abstentions. Prior to that, in a separate recorded vote, Member States decided to retain operative paragraph 4 of the draft, which took note of Security Council resolution 2209 (2015) adopted in March 2015.
