Assembly President, Permanent Representatives Bid Farewell to Deputy Secretary-General

Peter Thomson, President of the seventy-first session of the General Assembly, and Permanent Representatives of thirty Member States to the United Nations, gathered at the entrance to the UN Secretariat building to bid farewell to Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson, who concludes his term of office at the end of the year.
Mr. Eliasson (centre) autographs copies of the UN Charter for those gathered to see him off.
