Secretary-General Co-chairs Uganda Solidarity Summit 2017 on Refugees

The Republic of Uganda, in partnership with the United Nations, is hosting a two-day ""Solidarity Summit"" in Kampala, to rally international support for refugees and host communities in the form of donations, investments and innovative programmes. With the expected participation of 30 Heads of State and international donors, the Summit aims to raise $2 billion to meet the humanitarian needs of refugees and to support the hosting communities over the next four years.
Secretary-General António Guterres co-chairs the Summit.
