UNAIDS Press Conference on Agreement to Reduce Price of HIV Medicine

Michel Sidibé, Executive Director of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS), briefs journalists on a recent agreement reached by governments and organizations working to combat HIV/AIDS with pharmaceutical companies that manufacture drugs used to treat HIV. This breakthrough agreement will reduce the price of these life-saving drugs, thus ensuring more widespread availability and more effective treatment.
