Morroco Briefs the Press Following Security Council Meeting on MINURSO

Omar Hilale, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the UN, speaks at a press conference following the Security Council's adoption of resolution 2285 (2016) this morning, extending the mandate of the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) until 30 April 2017. The vote was ten in favor, two opposed (Uruguay and Venezuela) and three abstentions (Angola, New Zealand and the Russian Federation).
