Secretary-General Attends First Annual STI Forum

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon (left) confers with Macharia Kamau (centre), Permanent Representative of Kenya to the UN and Co-Chair of the STI Forum, and Oh Joon, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Korea to the UN and President of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), prior to the start of the first annual Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals (STI Forum). The theme of this year's forum is ""Realizing the potential of science, technology and innovation for all to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals"", which is taking place on 6-7 June, 2016, at UN Headquarters in New York.
