Secretary-General Attends First Annual STI Forum

Kairat Abdrakhmanov (second from left), Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the UN and Vice-President of the seventieth session of the General Assembly, makes opening remarks at the first annual Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals (STI Forum). The theme of this year's forum is ""Realizing the potential of science, technology and innovation for all to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals"", which is taking place on 6-7 June, 2016, at UN Headquarters in New York.
