Secretary-General Arrives at Smara Refugee Camp, Algeria

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon (centre) arrives at the Smara Refugee Camp to visit with the Sahrawi people. He is hoping his visit will raise awareness of the dire humanitarian situation Sahrawi refugees are facing and encourage parties to the Western Sahara conflict to find a lasting and mutually acceptable resolution to the now forty-year-long discord.
