Security Council Considers Situations in Sudan and South Sudan

Samantha Power (left), United States Permanent Representative to the UN and President of the Security Council for December, chairs the Council's meeting on the situations in Sudan and South Sudan. The Council also considered the report of the Secretary-General on the situation in Abyei.
