"Protecting Cultural Heritage: An Imperative for Humanity" Exhibit at UN Headquarters

Mohamed Ali Alhakim (left), Permanent Representative of Iraq to the UN, speaks at the opening of the exhibit entitled ""Protecting Cultural Heritage: An Imperative for Humanity"". The exhibit was co-organized by the Permanent Missions of Italy and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the United Nations in collaboration with the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
