Internally Displaced Persons in Mopti Region, Mali

According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), 74000 internally displaced persons (IDPs), who fled violence in the North of Mali after 2012, are targeted to return home. In Mopti, in the central region of Mali, there are approximately 3000 IDPs. Some of them have now found a new home thanks to the solidarity of the people in the region. Others are still willing to go back home, but their economic situation or the lack of security in their home towns don't allow them to repatriate.
