Cholera Vaccinations Administered to Refugees in South Sudan
Displaced civilians wash their hands and feet at Protection of Civilians (POC) Site 3, near Juba, South Sudan. The washing stations have set up to mitigate the risk of contamination as part of a cholera vaccination campaign being administered by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF), and Magna, supervised by the International Medical Corps (IMC), and supported by the World Health Organization (WHO). The project aims to vaccinate over 28,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
