UN Women Executive Director Visits Protection of Civilians Site in Juba

Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka (centre), Executive Director of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), visits the Protection of Civilians (POC) site 3 near UN House in Juba. Ms. Mlambo-Ngcuka met with women from the POC site who expressed their gratitude for the work of UN Women in South Sudan as well as the challenges they still face, the primary one being the continuing fighting in the country.
