South Sudan Celebrates International Day of Peace

An International Day of Peace celebration on the theme ""Partnerships for Peace; Dignity for All"" was held at the Nyakuron Cultural Centre in the capital city of Juba today. The event was organized by the South Sudan Peace and Reconciliation Commission, with support from the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Students from Juba Day Secondary School receive a trophy for their drama performance in a local peace and activism campaign.
