Global Leaders' Meeting on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment

The meeting was organized by UN Women and the People's Republic of China, as part of the United Nations Summit for the adoption of the post-2015 development agenda. The goal is to have global leaders to commit themselves to the accelerated implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (1995), and achievement of gender equality by 2030.
