Flags of Holy See, Palestine Fly at UN Headquarters

The flags of the two Observer States to the UN, the Holy See (left) and the State of Palestine, flying at United Nations headquarters. The Vatican flag was raised at the UN for the first time on 25 September, while that of the State of Palestine was raised on 30 September. The General Assembly adopted a resolution on 10 September 2015 allowing the flags of Observer States to fly at UN headquarters and at UN offices around the world.
