UNMISS Contingents Plant Crops in Rajaf

Troops from four contingents -- Chinese, Ethiopian, Nepalese and Rwandan -- of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), plant crops in Rajaf as part of a Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) farming project. Seeking to boost relations with the local community, UNMISS has been assisting the village of Rajaf, 15 kilometers south of the capital, Juba. UNMISS Peacekeepers have undertaken multiple activities in the areas of agriculture, construction, carpentry, and education.
