World Premiere Screening of Film Queen Nanny

A participant during the world premiere screening of "Queen Nanny: Legendary Maroons Chieftainess"", a film by Roy T. Anderson. The event was organized by the Remember Slavery Programme, in partnership with the Permanent Missions of Jamaica and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Nations.
The film is a one-hour documentary film that unearths and examines Nanny of the Maroons, Jamaica's sole female national hero and one of the most celebrated, but least recognized, heroines in the resistance history of the New World.
