Secretary-General Receives Award for Work on SDGs and Oceans

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon (centre) accepts the Elisabeth Mann Borgese Medal from the International Ocean Institute (IOI) for his work in launching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the stand-alone goal on the oceans (SDG 14), concerning the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Oceans, Seas & Marine Resources for Sustainable Development. Presenting him with the award are Awni Behnam (right), IOI Honorary President, and Antonella Vassallo, IOI Managing Director.
