Secretary-General Receives Award for Work on SDGs and Oceans

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon (at podium) speaks at the commemoration ceremony after being awarded the Elisabeth Mann Borgese Medal from the International Ocean Institute (IOI) for his his work in launching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the stand-alone goal on the oceans (SDG 14), concerning the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Oceans, Seas & Marine Resources for Sustainable Development.
