UNMISS Leads Conflict Resolution Roundtable

The Civil Affairs Division of the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) visited the Gun cattle camp, in Marial-bek, near Rumbek, in the Lakes State of South Sudan, to facilitate a third round of conflict resolution meetings for groups in the region who have been in conflict with each other since 2007. A recent clash on 15 March left over 100 people dead and spurred retaliatory killings and ambushes.
