Council Adopts Resolution on Human Rights Situation in Syria

A view of the Human Rights Council during its vote on a resolution regarding the continuing grave deterioration in the human rights and humanitarian situation in the Syrian Arab Republic, which demanded that the Syrian authorities cooperate fully with the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Syrian Arab Republic. The resolution was adopted by a vote of 32 in favour, five against and 10 abstentions.
