AMISOM in Barawe, Lower Shabelle Region of Somalia

Soldiers serving with the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) stand on a hill overlooking the Al-Shabab stronghold of Barawe in the Lower Shabelle region of Somalia. The African Union forces, along with the Somali National Army, are aiming to liberate the town from extremist group Al-Shabab in an operation named Indian Ocean.
