Construction Continues at Kapuri Primary School, South Sudan
The UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS)'s Rwandan Battalion is working with the local community on an "Umuganda" ("shared work") project, constructing a new school for the students in Kapuri, a town close to the capital city, Juba. The school at the current location consists of open-air rooms and trees that serve as classrooms, with no restroom facilities for the 420 attending students.
Primary school students visit the construction site as work continues at the new site of Kapuri Primay School. The new school will have enclosed classrooms and restrooms, as well as offices for the teachers.
