Secretary-General Receives Peru's Congressional Medal of Honor

Ana María Solórzano (right), President of National Congress of Peru, presents Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon with the Gran Cruz, Peru's Congressional Medal of Honor, the highest degree awarded by the Peruvian Congress. His visit to Lima coincides with the UN Climate Change Conference, including the twentieth session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of Parties (COP20) and the tenth session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP 10).
