UN Observes First World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

John W. Ashe, President of the sixty-eighth session of the General Assembly, speaks at today's special high-level event on ""Improving the coordination of efforts against trafficking in persons"" on the occasion of the first observation of the World Day against Trafficking in Persons. Today's event was co-organized by the Group of Friends United against Human Trafficking and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
