General Assembly Meets on NEPAD, Organization of Work, Elections

John W. Ashe, President of the sixty-eighth session of the General Assembly, moderates the 104th Plenary Meeting of this year's Assembly. On today's agenda were draft resolutions on the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) and the Organization of Work for Information and communications technologies for development, the election of the Executive Director
of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, and the appointment of members and alternate members of the United Nations Staff Pension Committee.
