International Youth Day Event: Mental Health Matters
The UN marked International Youth Day at an event focusing on youth and mental health, under the theme ""Mental Health Matters"". Jointly organized by the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and the Office of the Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth, the event also launched the DESA publication ""Mental Health Matters: The Social Inclusion of Youth with Mental Health Conditions"".
Thomas Gass, Assistant Secretary-General for Policy Coordination and Inter-Agency Affairs in the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), pays tribute to the recently deceased actor, Robin Williams, while speaking about suicide at today's event.
