UN Launches Bollywood Music Video for LGBT Rights

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights launched in Mumbai, India, the UN's first Bollywood-style music video, entitled "The Welcome", to promote its "Free and Equal" campaign advocating the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people (LGBT).
Participants at the launch (from left): Comedian Cyrus Broacha; Bollywood actor Imran Khan; Bollywood actress and UN Equality Champion Celina Jaitly; Charles Radcliffe, Chief the OHCHR Global Issues Section; Jyoti Sanghera, Chief of the OHCHR Economic and Social Issues Section; journalist and LGBT activist Ashok Row Kavi; and transgender activist Laxmi Tripathi.
