UNAMID Recommences Operations in Aftermath of Clashes in North Darfur

A peacekeeper serving with the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) marks with branches the location of a mortar projectile recently abandoned in the Alabassi camp for internally displaced people (IDP), in Mellit, North Darfur. UNAMID restarted its operations right after the clashes between the Government forces and armed rebel groups on 13 March.
