Film Screening of "Belle" Followed by Panel Discussion

Amma Asante, Director of the new movie ""Belle"", the story of an illegitimate mixed race daughter of a Royal Navy Admiral, speaks to guests at a panel discussion following a public screening of the film at UN Headquarters. The event was organized by the Mission of the United Kingdom and the United Nations Department of Public Information as part of the 2014 Commemorative activities for the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
