UNMAS, MINUSMA Mark International Day for Mine Awareness

As part of its commemoration for the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, the UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) staged a demining demonstration in Kambila, 20 km southeast of the capital city, Bamako.
Here, a bomb-disposal, or explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), robot is remotely driven to disarm an ordnance behind a UN peacekeeper.
