UNMAS, MINUSMA Mark International Day for Mine Awareness

Albert Gerard (Bert) Koenders (centre), Special Representative and Head of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), attends a demining demonstration organized by the UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS) for the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action. The demonstration took place in Kambila, 20 km southeast of the capital city, Bamako, where two demolitions were triggered, one by Mr. Koenders.
