UNMAS Holds Panel Discussion on Empowering Women in Mine Action

In observance of the International Day of Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) held a panel discussion today on ""Empowering Women in Mine Action"", recognizing the
contribution of, and bringing attention to, the women who carry out mine surveys and threat assessments. Today's event was organized by UNMAS and the Permanent Mission of Japan.
