Security Council Discusses Situation Guinea-Bissau

Antonio de Aguiar Patriota, Permanent Representative of Brazil to the UN and Chair of the Guinea-Bissau Configuration of the Peacebuilding Commission, addresses the Security Council meeting on the situation on Guinea-Bissau. The members of the Security Council welcomed the successful conclusion of the second round of presidential elections in Guinea Bissau and called upon the international community to continue to support Guinea Bissau's efforts at nation-building.
