Security Council Commends EU Partnership Efforts

The Security Council today commended the European Union's involvement in international negotiation and mediation processes, as well as its commitment to international peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian assistance and financial and logistical support, at its briefing on cooperation between the United Nations and regional and subregional organizations in maintaining international peace and security.
