Assembly Holds Thematic Debate on Water, Sanitation and Sustainable Energy

The General Assembly held a two-day thematic debate on ""Water, Sanitation and Sustainable Energy in the Post-2015 Development Agenda"".
Elizabeth Thompson (centre), Executive Coordinator for Rio + 20 (the 2012 UN Conference on Sustainable Development) and former Minister for Energy and Environment of Barbados, moderates a panel discussion on ""The Water-Energy Nexus" as part of the debate. On her right is Masood Khan, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, who chaired the panel.
