Assembly Holds thematic Debate on Water, Sanitation and Sustainable Energy

The General Assembly held a two-day thematic debate on ""Water, Sanitation and Sustainable Energy in the Post-2015 Development Agenda"". A view of the Trusteeship Council Chamber during a panel discussion on "The Sustainable Energy Challenge", conducted as part of the debate. The panel was chaired by Barthélémy Kassa, Minister for Energy, Petroleum & Mineral Research, Water and Renewable Energy Development of the Republic of Benin. It was moderated by Vijay Modi, Professor of mechanical engineering and Earth Institute faculty member at Columbia University.
