MINUSTAH Peacekeepers Arrive in Juba to Strengthen UNMISS Capacity

The first team of Nepalese peacekeepers arrive from the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) as part of the plans to reinforce the military component at the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS). This group of 25 is an advance party of the 350 troops expected from MINUSTAH and additional 500 who will come directly from Nepal.
