Commemoration of International Youth Day

A special event was held at UN headquarters to mark International Youth Day (12 August), on the theme "Youth Migration: Moving development forward". The observance was co-organized by the Division for Social Policy and Development, UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA); and the International Labour Organization (ILO); with the support of the MDG (Millennium Development Goals) Achievement Fund.
