Winning Design for the Permanent Slavery Memorial Unveiled

Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, delivering remarks at the unveiling of the winning design for the Permanent Memorial to Honour the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. The winning design, entitled, ""The Ark of the Return"" was designed by Rodney Leon, an architect based in Manhattan.
