Outreach Event on the Role of UNMISS in Promoting Peace and Stability in Jonglei State

A one-day outreach event was organized by UNMISS in the county's Jalle district, 60 kilometres from Bor, the capital of Jonglei State, to talk about the role of UNMISS and the Jonglei peace agreement signed in 2012. Also discussed was the role of youth, traditional chiefs, women representatives and local officials in promoting peace and stability in Jonglei.
