Memorial Ceremony for Five Indian Peacekeepers in UNMISS

Indian peacekeepers with the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) bear the casket of their fallen comrade during a memorial ceremony. Five peacekeepers from India lost their lives when their convoy was ambushed in Jonglei State on 9 April 2013. Seven civilians working with UNMISS-two national staff and five contractors-were also killed in the attack.
