Memorial Ceremony for Five Indian Peacekeepers in UNMISS
Hilde Johnson, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for South Sudan and Head of the UN mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), lays a wreath in honour of the five Indian Peacekeepers who lost their lives when their convoy was ambushed in Jonglei State on 9 April 2013. Seven civilians working with UNMISS-two national staff and five contractors-were also killed in the attack.
