Human Rights Council Hears Report on Human Rights of Migrants

François Crépeau, Special Rapporteur on the human rights of migrants, presents his report to the 23rd session of the Human Rights Council. Mr. Crépeau said it was regrettable that irregular migration was largely viewed as a security concern rather than as a human rights issue, regarding the management of external borders of the European Union, speaking particularly about the Tunisia-Italy and Turkey-Greece borders.
